Jurors should ask why did Jodi only shoot Travis once and why she only cut him 30-some times after the abuse she clearly suffered.

    • rocrocha says:

      Her gun jammed.

      • JanCorey says:

The gun jammed, great news, thank you for the clarification. If the gun became inoperable by jamming, that would tend to justify why Jodi had to cut Travis so many times, at least to me.

  2. Rose Chimera says:

If she killed him because of the abuse….was the abuse sexual? If so, in her mind, why didn’t she go for his genitals as is often the first area of attack for women against their male sexual attackers.

    • JanCorey says:

The simple answer is because Travis attacked her from the tackle-stance and it progressed from there, which it all good and needed in my opinion based upon the facts of this case.

      • Rose Chimera says:

I’ve wondered why she put the camera in the washer and I heard the jury ask her that…via the Judge…but didn’t hear her answer (listening to the trial on the radio). Do you know why she did that? Put the camera in the washer? What was her answer?

      • JanCorey says:

I suspect she put the camera in the washer because it was full of dirty picture, I suppose.

      • Rose Chimera says:

Either that or she thought it would wash the “evidence” of their actions prior to the incident. I know she answered the question…why? But don’t know what her answer was. I’m just curious.

      • JanCorey says:

I believe she did an outstanding job on the stand and she tore a new whole in the prosecution imo, she really made the prosecution look bad. I thought they are supposed to win a death penalty, aren’t they?

      • Rose Chimera says:

Oh Martnez rattled her here and there, but for the most part she held her own. She managed to piss him off didn’t she? On a number of occasions and it shows when he starts yelling at her. I find him unprofessional when he attacks her like that. Though he has a good track record. However, I think he’s never had a defendant such as her! Good for her that she doesn’t let him get to her! I would like to see her attorneys objecting more often just to break his stride. Though maybe its working in her favor…look how this mean prosecutor is beating her up! Martinez annoys the devil out of me! Ma’am….ma’am….ugh sounds like a sheep….ma’a’a’a’a’a’m…trying to de-humanize her to the jury. Perhaps he is getting so mad because he’s reading what’s on the internet, hearing the talking heads criticizing him…

      • JanCorey says:

I agree with you totally Rose. I do think Jodi knows how to push his buttons and she kept doing it the entire time. I think if Martinez fails to get a death penalty conviction on Jodi, he’ll likely be fired just like the Casey Anthony prosecutor who actually resigned when he learned he was going to be terminated. No death penalty conviction on this case, Martinez will be done with, finished and thrown out like so many are when they can’t deliver on their national media cases.

      • Rose Chimera says:

Indeed! Martinez failing to get a conviction on premeditated murder will be a HUGE black eye on his record and that of the prosecutors office. But he’ll probably go into private practice and make tons of money being a loud mouthed, angry, berating the other side, attorney. Meh…he just annoys me to NO END! His voice, his demeanor, his posture, all of him! lol…that may be harsh because he is just doing his job, but does he have to be such a jerk about it?

      • JanCorey says:

You summed it up very well Rose. If he fails to get the max on all charges, his career will be done, he may even lose his ability to practice Law after the court actions come to fruition down the road whether a conviction is obtained or not just like Ashton in the Anthony acquittal case.

      • Rose Chimera says:

I’d be ok with that because he’s fanatical! We all have our limitations after all..right? Maybe Jodi is his breaking point.

      • JanCorey says:

I think you see, Rose, what many millions of people cannot yet begin to fathom.

I expect that the best she can expect is to be LWOPed (life-Without-Parole).

      • JanCorey says:

Possibly so, until the Appeals are won to overturn any negative sentence.
